Yeah my day off from work. Mmmm what shall I do today...??? I had no plan, just went out with my camera, like a free soul~ and there I saw the marquee outside the Westfield Mall...
Apparently The Willoughby council is looking for 3000 faces of their citizens to participate in an artwork that will be displayed at the concourse in Chatswood. I didn't even know which building they are talking about as there are so many constructions going on around the area..... since the beginning of this year and I honestly can not see much improvement anywhere.
?? They had this photo/picture at the display in front of the marquee - apparently this is how it looks like??
Oh. Looks quite nice from the outside. I've never paid much attention to this before. But certainly the outside looks very flash! Is my face going to be on the wall of that building? Woot woot~~ What will be at the concourse? Shops??? Food??? BOTH!!! I hope we get hundreds of both food and shops (of course fashion related...) there~~~!! yay yay yeayyyy~
Okie. Going back to the marquee. Inside is very simple. Two people behind the desk, one is my fellow canon user, and another one sits behind the computer. I was in line but this guy jumped ahead of me because I was taking photos.. hmph.
My turn now. They told me to give them a big smile. So I did. They said it's beautiful~~~ lala
Then they told me not to smile. Uh-oh I don't look nice when I don't smile and have the expressionless expression. Oh well. I bet 3000 faces will be all jumbled up you probably won't be able to spot me anyway. And besides, nobody here knows me. I'm like.. the hidden mysterious dentist who lives across the road.
Look at my fat fat face... :( sigh
Though the weather was a bit cloudy, it was very warm day. Lots of people were out and so were the pigeons.
I'm not a fan of birds, especially those big fat ugly scary disastrous pigeons... But because we have so many of them here in Chatswood, I see them everyday. They are not scared of people at all, they just continue eating whatever is on the ground and they continue digging digging and digging.. then they start flying away right in front me which freaks me out....... Akkkk I scream and people turn around. I am the clown of the Victoria Ave..... Regardless of my dislike towards them, I cannot help noticing the variety in those pigeons. It's just amazing. Some are huge, some are tiny and thin, and some are horribly obese! and some are quite ugly, like white with black uneven dots just like the ones on the photo above. None of them is the same, DUH~~ but to someone who has never paid any attention to them, it is a new finding! What a niche they have developed in the heart of North Sydney. I thank them for eating bugs, I wish they could be faster in eating all the bugs around my house this summer!
