There was a bunch of Koreans (prob tourists) gathered around trying to grab a bundle altogether. When they were told to take one each, then share around once you are on the plane, they just said Koreans are greedy. That was the end of the discussion. They took them all in.

When Koreans were lining up to buy ugg boots in Sydney DFS, they were complaining to the shop assistants saying that they are not receiving enough discount.  I could see some confused looks of Aussies around the scene...

The service of Asiana Airline is great. They use such a polite form of language to you but people don't seem to be appreciating their effort much.. Come on it's not their fault when then ran out of OJ just before your turn.

I know I'm one of them but sometimes it comes as a surprise realising the difference in circuit of logic when you come outside that circle.

Warmth in my mind

One of my friends recently had a baby girl. Beautiful.  I am yet to meet her in person, probably next year. Lots of friends have been commenting on her photos - saying she's beautiful, gorgeous, cute, sweet, etcetc. And a line of comment from her mother has touched my heart.

Hmmm. It's just a short simple sentence. But the power that it carries and sends out is amazing. Felt like I've just gulped down a very hot soup. Sometimes simplicity can the best way to communicate?

Dogs!

As a fan of Nintendo DS and its families, it was too much of a temptation to resist when I heard about Nintendog shows at the Circular Quay. Good for a nice morning walk around the city, I thought. I grabbed my camera and went out from Sofitel Hotel. Yes... I was lucky enough to enjoy luxurious accomodation at the hotel for 2 days woot woot.

There were lots of other show dogs. "Humanly" dressed poodles, bloated puffy bichons and of course greedy looking little shih tzus with multiple hairfurpins.... as you can tell, yes I'm not too fond of dogs.. Yes I find them cute and adorable but they can get quite smelly. And what if they die? I'm not too good with saying goodbyes. Occasionaly I get this urge of wanting a puppy I must confess. But guess that's different I just want something small and tiny that I can look after and play with (baby? lol).

But these dogs were quite special. They reminded me of err... neatly folded towels lol. After spending some time with my ultimate Google, I found out they are called Dogue de bordeaux, the French origined muscular dogs. Do they look muscular? I don't know.. they rather look soft cushy and flabby to me.

They actually looked quite cute and unique. I actually patted them a few times too. They were quite smelly though.. so I had to go wash my hands. All these photos were taken priorly. There is no way I'll play with my camera or touch any of my belongings before I wash my hands..... some kind of nasty habit that's been deeply brainwashed into me since the childhood.

Google must've got a new manager on their boat, I can see they've been working hard! It's become a lot simplier/easier/neater/stylish to blog and such an infrequent/irregular/slacky blogger like myself cannot stop wowing at its dramatic change over a few months....

It wasn't my intention at all and I really don't mean to,
but still,
when I try to talk about my thoughts,
tears come before the speech.

So people always think that I'm a extremely bubbly person without complaints.
Even when there's "indigestion" for many days about all those craps and poos,
I dissolve it inside.

But I'm only a human
I have my moments when I want to bitch
but my sight becomes hazy with tears and my voice trembles

So as usual, today goes on without saying anything.

Times like this
I really wanna come home and be with somebody who can change my mood with an upbeat
but there's no one at home.
I try to borrow the power of Skype
but I stop in the half way through, hearing myself whining doesn't seem serious to anybody
It's getting tiring and I hate thinking about phones anymore.
You have not given me the reason but somehow provided me with the conclusion.

As a result,
I hit the bed with "indigestion"... :'(

Hello June

 Yay to the first of June!!!!

Another month has gone past and let's all say hello to June!! It's the month full of pressies............. for me! But I don't like it :( because I am getting older by another 365 days :( :( :( super sad...

Just to brighten up my mood from the recent "incident" at work, (I got told off not caring enough for my patients because I said NO I don't want to go and see a patient afterhours...........................) I went for a hair cut... And you know what?!?!?!

Not many people have noticed the change.

I think it's very short now.. When I was washing my hair this evening, my hand was trying to grab the hair that nolonger exists........ But it looks very health less damaged now. Even Q said he cannot tell what I've done to my hair. Funny enough, just before he went offline, he said "I like your new hair"!! Hahahaha. Adorable ♥

Lucky me

Spent the whole evening trying to come up with the perfect wording for the invitation card.. Who knew it'd be this difficult and confusing!!?!? Words such as celebration, together, life, invite, share and journey are occupying my brain completely. Nothing else can get in at the moment... Ahhh brain is jammed!!! %#^@$

But what a happy moment it is! Although we are having long distance relationship, I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything. I know he's always there for me, thanks to sms and Skype. I don't think anyone else can care for anybody else as much as Q does for me.  In the past I used to envy those who appear to be the sweet couples. I used to wonder what have they done to deserve such a reward, but... now I feel that I have to do more good deeds because I know I've used up all my luck on finding the Mr Perfect! :D

Seriously, what else can I ask for?

People say it's the timing that determines your other half not the true love. Well if this is the truth, then I'm the luckiest because the true love came at the perfect timing!

I don't believe in any conversation where so called "f slang" is used.

YES you can say it in joking terms but NO I don't buy it. I hate it as much as I hate cockroaches and reptiles. Almost everyone's using it to express anger, disgust... and (for those who are in excruciating toothache) pain.. but hey you'll learn something new today. I've never spoken of that word before. If I can do it then why can't you.

When someone uses it on me, I get so annoyingly offended I don't bother replying, whether it was in the context of sms, email or in conversation. I don't care if you said it jokingly or not, I won't be putting up with somebody who's such an underclass.

Urgent change is needed

I'm currently doing a minor orthodontic treatment on my lower incisors.
I feel it's looking great at present. Nicely aligned. But I want it even straighter. The big day is coming. It's very difficult to lose weight and become thinner. I will feel better if my teeth are looking perfect... at least!

Oh that reminds me. I have to go on the "white diet" with teeth whitening...... no coffee, tea, tomato ketchup, red wine, kimchi, black bean sauce... but say YES to cheese (yay), yoghurt, milk, cauliflowers, tofu, rice and potatoes! Man I really have to sit down and work out a proper plan. Going on "thinning diet", "white diet" and "healthy diet" are all different aren't they?

There is skin rejuvenation clinic on the 7th floor of my clinic. Apparently they are doing discounts for us. Hooray is this the sign that I should go and get my skin treated? I hear botox is good in slimming the jawline... I hate hate HATE my angles of mandible!! I push push push hard on them every night but they are still so rounded. I want it to be sharper....... should I go and have the consult?  I have a small chip of lead just underneath my left eye. Got "tatooed" when I was 7 by a friend accidently. My dad promised that he'd get it out for me when I turn 20 but it's still there. Should I zap it out with laser??

Sigh... too much to worry about. What to do what to do.  Afterall its just another day, but then... I want it to be special. I want to look pretty. I want my baby to feel proud of me on the day!!

Pasta pasta!!

My home made spaghetti bolognaise... with penne! I don't get when to have what type of pasta with what sauce! so I just chose penne - nice and plain. I have to buy the whole pack of 750g!! It'd better be the general one! I didn't have beef mince so I just used my scotch fillet. A bit chewy but that's ok . I like chewy food. I only had three snowpeas in the fridge - that's ok, I had other ingredients...

Too many things that I compromised.
But that's ok! It was yummy!!!!! :D
Who are you to complain when you haven't tried it?? :p

Pancakes on Rocks

I was there with my good good friend Jason and his gf, Erika. Man, finally I got to meet her, after years of anticipation!

Erika and I both ordered Chicken and mushroom crepes - yumyum!

Chicken and muchroom crepes - Creamy chicken and mushroom, topped with a crunchy coating of parmesan cheese

It was served with their special tomato sauce and sour cream. Sour cream.... wasn't their special, it was just an ordinary sour cream but I thought tomato sauce was a bit different. It was a bit more "chewier" than the normal sauce. I quite liked it.

Jason had the fresh mushroom crepes - whereas my crepes was slightly grilled, his wasn't - it looked very nice. Last time I was there with another friend and I remember that it did not taste like vegetarians dish. I really liked their basil cream sauce! (food is all about sauces)

Our dessert was awesome - I was never a big fan of grilled bananas but this was nice! Even picky Jason (sorry!) enjoyed it very much (I think) hahaha. It was so good to catch up with them despite the rush of catching bus due to the trackwork. Times like this I really miss my Dunedin life. It is getting more and more difficult to make good friends as I'm getting older - we all have our own circle of friends. I wish in the future I can live closer to my good good friends and have the reunion often. There's nothing like having good old friends around you!

Mini's day out!

After a long time contemplating whether I should take him out or not, I decided to take Mini to our date. He has been a groomy boy recently, I thought I should let him get some fresh air, though most of the times he was inside the bag surrounded by blankies!

We had dinner at Lowenbrau, Rocks, CBD. Lovely atmosphere, lovely beer, lovely food, lovely companion!!!

We were having a blast taking photos and reading menu..(silly menu with all the German words) then suddenly, Mini popped from San's side! How did he get there!!

Oooo bad bad timing the drinks came too quick before Mini got into the bag! So I had to distract him.  He was climbing onto me to whisper...  can I try???? And my answer was NO, obviously.

Good. Dinner came and San and I ate in peace. Mini was back inside the bag.

Hmmmm maybe it wasn't such a good idea to take him out. I quickly picked him up and took a photo. OK! now let's go home...

I'm catching up with his age!!!!!!!!

Does this mean... if I get on the jetplane that can go around the world within 24 hours

and go around and round and round..

Would I ever catch up with him???

If yes,

then I'd love to go around the world on the opposite direction

and go around and round and round...

Perhaps I can get my youth back!??!?!

I think I have too much time to myself tonight....

Balloons!

Gorgeous little girl in red somehow reminded me of myself when I was a little girl

I also loved balloons when I was little...

but now?

Oh I'm so scared of it. I am scared that it'll POP when I touch it.

So I try not to go near it. 

And yet the upcoming big event will have lots of balloons... I feel so brave even coming up with the idea.
