Hot Pot

10/09/10
HAPPY BDAY san cheng~!!!
Went to celebrate her bday with close friends at Shancheng Hot Pot King restaurant in city.

Shancheng Hot Pot King

Hot pot is like steamboat which is like Chinese fondue. You dump everything and pick it up once it's cooked, like Shabushabu.

Hotpot before we start

This was the second time I tried the hotpot at the restaurant - the only restaurant that I've been to in Sydney. I think it's quite delicious - me being the typical Korean, I'm not too talented in differentiating Chinese restaurants and giving them the ranks, but there were so many flocks of Chinese - I think it's a good place. Must go when Q is here. heehee

Joejoe is paiseh*

Melvin

Melvin was going all red.. I cropped this photo to make it a portrait for him but in actual fact - Sancheng was on this photo too - awwww he goes red when he looks at her.... awwwww >0<;;

Happy couple I

Happy Couple II

The birthday girl and her other half look very contented... with food????? :P

For ONCE he decided to pose for me...

Food photo. Doesn't look that interesting. I was so shy to go closer to the food and start "shuttering"... The camera did not fit too well with the atmosphere I must admit... so here is a quick shot of the plates - 1/10 of what we've had.

My fave tea

Veges!

Apparently the yellow bean sprouts make you grow taller. I'm gonna feed lots of these to my Bori, BBB, Mini, Minimi and...our little nameless baby who still has umbilical cord attached to his ear.

Right. Time to see some actions on the table!

Melvin stripping all the shrimps

Joejoe reaching out for more food...

Joe said.. he won't talk to me if I take another shot of him. Hence this is the last photo of him (for the day :p)

Melvin's Korean look *like like*

Pretty & cute & super smart bday girl~ Hello gorgeous! *like like like*

My new addict I

My new addict II

This herbal tea is the best thing! Running very close to the Elderflower...!Apparently this is an old Malaysian tea.. huhu. Lots to drink up when I go back to Malaysia.. Had three of these and I was bursting to peepee as I was getting near my house. But, it was gooooood!

Off to yumcha soon. Would they have the same tea there??
